• its 4k so your gonna need a 2.0 hdmi cable for best quality but these aren't expensive if u shop around preferably ebay, amazon etc

• You can use a standard HDMI cable from a Blu Ray or cable box. But when 4 K source material becomes available on BluRay you my have to upgrade the cable to the 2.0 standard. I would use the present cable you have until you need to upgrade.

• No you dont. Don't fall for the hype regarding hdmi cables.
