A:AnswerI don't know the exact measurements but they are on the edges, not in the middle (as my older TV had). I had to purchase a TV stand that extended past the TV borders for that reason. You may be able to get away with a TV stand that is just the length of the TV but my new one is a little longer. The prongs are quite wide so I made sure my new TV stand was wide as well. Not sure if the legs can be changed out.

A:AnswerNot all movies and shows use a 16:9 format. In fact, Netflix has the same from time to time. Those black lines are normal for a lot of shows and movies. One thing you can do is make sure the formate is set to native.
