difference between nu7100 series and nu6900 null

The 6900 model out does the 7100 model by a wide margin. I went from a 50 inch to a 55 inch TV and got hooked. Had problems with the 7100 as far as picture quality and angle viewing. It started displaying dark lines a little over a year of ownership and was very disappointed. The 6900 on the other hand is larger and has far better picture and color quality. I am glad I decide to go larger because the price was just right. There is something about the color and picture quality on the 6900 that seems far superior than the 7100. I don't know if the size of the screen is the difference, but it sure stands out.
