how wide are the legs? Is says they are 10 inched deep null

The front legs are just short of 37.5" wide, with the back legs slightly tapered in. A stand or platform should be no narrower than 38" and preferably a bit wider in case something bumps the TV. My stand is narrower, and I used two extension pieces each about 16" wide to provide support, which works great. I am hunting for just the right stand, but still considering wall mounting.
