• Directly to TV but you must use an HD, high quality HDMI cord for it to work.

• The sound bar connects with an hdmi cord to the back of your tv. One hdmi in and one out. The sub is wireless, so it connect to the sound bar by Bluetooth.

• I got it hooked up to the tv. You can do hdmi/audio connected/digital (fiber optic) input
