“Does this TV have optical audio to support Bose sound bar?”

• This model has an external connection box, with one cable running to the TV. One of the connections is Audio Optical. At first I thought the connection box was strange, but after connecting every cable, it was much easier than connecting all cables to TV.

• Yes, but you'll have to use the Bose remote control to adjust the volume. TV has no variable audio output.

• Yes on the optical output. I use it to go to a Yamaha HTR receiver and the audio is incredible. I use the Dolby Digital the PCM output just didn't work well on my set up.

• Yes it has optical audio output. It will send the audio of whatever source is being played to that port.

• TV has an optical output to which you can connect an optical cable. Optical cables are pretty standard, so they should connect to any sound bar. Mine is connected from the TV to a Samsung sound bar. If you have a DVR/cable box, however, you can connect the optical cable to it instead of to the TV.
