A:Answer I am not vision impaired but it does have a voice activated remove which works with some features. While watching cable, assuming its a major service that the TV has already mapped like Time Warner or Dish Network etc., you can hold down the voice button on the remote and say "Chanel 4" or similar and it will work. I think it will allow you do to some other functions like volume if your using the tv speakers, input type etc. I really don't use it much but hope that helps.
