Difference between this and UN55JU650 A side by side comparison of these two tvs shows very little difference - at this time they are both on sale for 999.99. However, this one is originally 1599 and the UN55JU650 is 1199.

This TV has the newer Nano crystal true color screen and is a "S"UHD (The S is on there higher end models) whereas the UN55JU650 is a older model to this.

This TV is the "SUHD" and the other may be just UHD. The "S" has the Nano-Crystal technology and is supposed to be better with local dimming. I would go for the 7000 series if you can.

The UN55JS7000 is a higher end model, one of Samsung's SUHD models instead of UHD. It has the nano crystal/quantum dot technology that allows it to show a lot more of the colors that the human eye can see. This one was a 2015 model, not sure about the JU650, I think that might have been a 2014.

They are nearly the same. JS7000 weighs 1.5 lb. less and has a slightly lower "typical" power consumption. The stands are shaped differently, with JS7000's stand slightly higher and deeper. JS7000 specs indicate 2 USB 2.0 and 1 USB 3.0, while JU650 only indicates 3 USB (version not indicated). JU650 has "Wide Color Enhancer Plus" and "PurColor" while JS7000 is branded as part of Samsung's "SUHD" lineup -- that which might be the same thing, in practice.
