QuestionWhat is the refresh rate for this tv? 120hz or 60hz?The Best Buy rep. told me the UN55JS7000 has a 120hz refresh rate, but my internet searches say this model only has 60hz native refresh rate.

- Answer Refresh rate on a 4K tv is always 1/2 the motion rate. So this tv has motion rate 120 so refresh rate is 60. A 1080p tv's motion rate is equal to its refresh rate...example, motion rate 120, refresh rate 120.

- Answer No HDMI cables. If you use Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, or anything over Wi-Fi, you wouldn't need it. If you have a cable box, it should come with a cable. If you have a gaming console, it should come with a cable. If you have a device you want to use with the TV, that device should come with a cable.

QuestionFlashlighting and cloudingI just purchased this tv the other day and it has an amazing picture, but I haved noticed flashlighting along the right side of the panel and on the bottom right side of the panel. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? It becomes annoying when trying to watch any dark scenes.

- Answer I have this same problem. I returned the first tv that had this problem and now the second one has the same issue. I don't know if you have had it fixed or what you did. Anything you can tell me would be helpful. If you would be able to give me some advice on what I should do that would be great. Should I return it and exchange it for the exact same thing (which I've done once) or should I just buy a different 4K tv of another brand?

They are both samsung, 55", smart, ultra HD 4K, same specs, ect. What is the difference? If any?

- Answer Cheaper one is a 6400 model. It's the 2014 model, so slightly older hardware, etc... Newer one has more hdmi ports, more internal storage (for apps), and it also has the "S" moniker. Which is an improved display technology. Something to do with Nano Crystal Tech

- Answer the smart hub allows for apps like Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc. to sign in directly from your tv. you can also cast from phones and tablets directly to your tv via your wifi.

- Answer Yes you can use a hardwire network cable to the rear of the TV. Probably best to do so unless you have a really good wireless router. It does stick straight out of the back though so an extremely low profile wallmount could cause an issue, but most wall mounts will be fine.

- Answer This TV has the newer Nano crystal true color screen and is a "S"UHD (The S is on there higher end models) whereas the UN55JU650 is a older model to this.

QuestionFlashlighting and Clouding (again)Our new (4 days) UN55JS7000 exhibits significant flashlighting from the sides and lower right corner. Appears as greenish/yellow clouds. In addition there is clouding across the screen when the TV scene is dark and on the dark bars when in the letterbox picture mode. When there is strong/bright color on the screen the flashlighting/clouding are barely visible and the colors are great. Since this problem appears in many reviews plus in the Rtings.com analysis of this model TV, is it worth swapping the TV for a direct replacement or should I give up on the JS7000? Strange that 85% seem happy with this model?? I assume the Geeks would be unable to solve with this problem!!

- Answer Sounds like there is a definite problem with your TV. Ours works great. We've had it for about 4 weeks now and no problems whatsoever.

Question3 blue dots on bottom of screenIs anyone else seeing 3 blue dots 4" from the bottom of screen about 18" apart. The outside dots have a blue line under them. When the picture is dark they are really visible. Just purchased the TV yesterday so want to know if I need to return it. Thanks

- Answer The TV would offer more resolution and clarity and is the next step for the future of TV. It's difficult to say, since pictures affect different people. Some may find it an upgrade while others would feel that the they respond better to the 240Hz at a lower resolution. Try checking it out at the store, and ask the sales associates to put on a fast action picture so you can see for yourself. That's always the best indicator.
