Why is the 9500 model 1000$ more than the 6500 model? null

Better electronics that makes a much better picture definitely worth it

If you can afford the difference it is well worth it. The side by side comparison in the store is not a gimmick. I bought the lower series and that TV is now in my bedroom. The 9500 series is crisper, clearer, and has that little box you can update with new technology.
