“4k Ultra HD Curved 55" Picture Format Changes at Random??? We currently have a Dish Receiver MODEL VP612. I understand from Dish, we need a JOEY 4K receiver but they haven't released The 4K JOEY and don't have an estimated date for the release, Our TV picture size changes at random. One minute the screen size is perfect and then at random, it changes sizes, is this because we don't have the 4K Joey or is this a Samsung TV Issue?. Samsung Customer Service says it's a Dish Issue and Dish says it's a Samsung issue. Looks like we will be returning this TV and go back to the 1080.. Very disappointed! Can someone help me?”

No many carriers are not 4K ready yet. Only netflix, youtube, roku , Fire tv, etc. Just hold on to the TV, cause eventually you will want to go back.

Please try again later.Bobbielouise, If it's full screen one moment and the aspect changes, that's likely the broadcast due to commercials or older content that was filmed in 4:3. That's considered normal, as some content isn't wide-screen, and is broadcast within a 16x9 broadcast, giving those black boxes. Thanks for your interest in Samsung products. --Mr. S
