2160p resolution for breathtaking HD images I understand that 4K is a very refined resolution on the U-HD TV but do you have to purchase a specific type of DVD and subscribe to specific HDTV stations to get this U-HD 4K affect? Does this UHD 4K resolution TV enhance the HDTV programs already set up on ones TV?
What is a 4K movie and are they sold as a special type of DVD format sold just for this TV?

To get true 4K from a DVD you will need a 4K DVD player and disk that is 4K encoded. Like a Blue-ray disk you need a BR DVD player. Unfortunately at current time their are no 4K DVD players or disks being released . Samsung will have at least one 4K player by Christmas and some disks to play. These players I understand will also play BR and regular DVD disks. Initial cost will probably be significantly higher than current BR players. Very fast Internet speed is critical to get 4K signal to your home. I don't have sufficient internet speed to get my signal through Direct TV which is offering movies in their pay-per view service. YouTube has a lot of free 4K movie previews and short programs.
My TV does offer upstaging and picture is significantly improved from our older HD set. But it does not look like the demos in the BB store.

Most tv companies do not have 4k yet direct tv is the closest one to it so right now the tv is ahead of it's 1080p ability or even ahead of it's 2160 abilities.

There aren't that many shows or movies that are being shown in 4 k yet. But it's coming. I find the tv shows and Playstation look incredible. Much better then my old tv. Worth the price.

The TV will play most signals from standard definition (SD) to High Definition (HD). The TV allows the picture to fill the screen and digitally enhances the picture.

So what I have understood from Mr Samsung answer there's no UHD 4K effect on this tv set and the similar ones with UHD 4K.
