- Answer mine is on an amplifier I didn't need anything special to connect it but I've had it connected to other Tv's similar to this, I connect my firestick right behind the tv,I didnt like that my old set had the connections on the back right, this Tv is on the back left, my cords were barely long enough

- Answer I found that if I use the HD channels the picture is so much clearer. I have Comcast so most of the HD channels are in 1000 range.

- Answer From what I've read, it's a matter of preference. The 8 comes with a slightly wider range of color but otherwise, both 7 and 8 are practically the same.
