A:AnswerHi McDel,
To ensure your TV sound goes through your Blu-ray player, please go to Settings > Sound > Sound Output.
Also, check whether Digital Output Audio Format is set to Pass-Through by going to Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format > Auto.
If you continue to have issues, please give us a call at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week.

A:AnswerHi Summerville,
To turn off the voice navigation on the AU8000 TV, go to Home>Settings > General > Voice > Bixby Voice Settings > Voice Response > Off. Then open Voice Wake-Up Settings and set it to OFF.

A:Answerfrom what i read, it can connect to 2 bluetooth devices at a time so would assume that goes for hearing aids too.
One thing we found annoying with this TV was that it wouldn't automatically connect to our bluetooth soundbar. Even after paring, we had to use the remote to connect every time the TV was turned on. We took it back and got a Sony and it auto connects.
A:AnswerThe AU8000 Series does not have PIP (or multi-view). Split-screen capability to view two different content side-by-side is available starting from our QLED Q60T Series and up using our Multi View feature. For example, you can view media from different sources, such as an app, Blu-ray player, or game console, on the main left screen while also mirroring your phone to the smaller screen. Multi-View provides you with endless possibilities for splitting screens and viewing several types of content at the same time.

A:AnswerHi Buck,
We do not recommend that you download 3rd party apps to the AU8000 TV. However, there are several apps available for download in the build-in app store on the AU8000 TV, including various news channels. Go to Home> Scroll over to apps> Search for the specific news app you are looking for.

A:AnswerSenior citizen here too. We didn't care for the audio but once connected to a sound bar it was much better. If you go that route I'd advise an HDMI ARC connection to make using the remote much easier.
