- Answer When in doubt, always go with the manufacturer stated specs for a device. That said, the UN55ES6100 offer a dynamic contrast ratio of 6,000,000:1. -MrSamsung

Questionwireless mouse and keyboard?looks like a great TV however i have read horrible reviews on the smart hub. What wireless mouse and keyboard will work with the web browsing, netflix apps. any help on which wireless keybaord and mouse i can buy for this TV would be greatly appreciated.

- Answer Yes the Smarthub is painfully slow to browse with the existing remote setup. I have succesfully connected a handheld multimedia remote to it with a small bluetooth plugged into a USB slot. It was the Lenovo N5902 Enhanced Multimedia Remote to be specific. Purchased it on Amazon for about 50 dollars and it plugged and played immediately. I have tried with another bluetooth device that was an individual full sized mouse and keyboard (made by Rocketfish and typically required setup and synchronization, so they weren't exactly plug and play to begin with) and was unsuccessful in that endeavor. The Lenovo N5902 has been connected and ran on 2 of these exact same 55" Samsung TVs with smart hub and cyclyed through the internet with much better ease than the TV remote. I also now use the Lenovo N5902 for my laptop when it is connected to the TV as well. I would definitely have someone try it as it definitely makes browsing so much less frustrating.

QuestionSamsung Smart TV Wireless Keyboard VG-KBD1500 for UN55ES6100FXZADoes the Smart TV UN55ES6100FXZA support the Wireless Keyboard VG-KBD1500? Browsing thru the apps using the remote control is a real pain while positioning and writting texts. If not I assume can use any wireless keyboard, correct?, does the apps support any other keyboard?. Does the VG-KBD1500 keyboard also work on series UN55ES6500FXZA even in all the apps?

- Answer From the available information, although the ES6100 will offer compatibility with a traditional standard USB keyboard and mouse, it will not offer support for wireless peripherals. The ES6500 on the other hand will indeed be compatible with both USB and Bluetooth wireless Keyboards and mice, as well as the VG-KBD1500. Additionally, some Apps will support the Keyboard functionality (Netflix, Youtube, Web Browser to name a few); however, keyboard functionality implementation is solely at the discretion of the app's developer, so not all apps will support this feature. -MrSamsung

- Answer Unfortunately, headphone jacks are not available on this unit; however you can still connect headphones to this unit with a third party headphone device (either through RCA, 3.5mm jack or Optical). Since the audio outputs on this unit are a fixed pass through type of connection, you would need an intermediary device to control the volume, since the TV does not have control of the volume coming out of the analogue and digital audio outputs. Additionally, the Samsung TVs will not offer direct wireless connectivity to wireless capable headphones. -MrSamsung

- Answer All UN, PN and LN units (North American Units) will only have support for NTSC/ATSC/QAM broadcasting systems and NA power systems. Since the NA TVs will not accept a PAL signal or Non-NA voltages, you will not only need a converter for the broadcast, but also for the power if you would like to use the TV in a PAL country. Unfortunately, I will not be able to recommend a specific converter since Samsung cannot offer support for products we do not manufacture. -MrSamsung

- Answer As a matter of fact, the UN55ES6100 would be a great choice for video conferencing (and with the camera -sold separately-, you can even use Skype through the TV directly). Unfortunately, I cannot suggest any specific computers to use with the TVs since the choice is based more on personal preference and hardware/software needs for your business. To find out what PC is right for you, I would suggest contacting your local Best Buy representative for more information. -MrSamsung

- Answer Yes of course you can use cordless keyboard. I use the Logitech K400 keyboard which is great because it also has a touchpad - so you don't need a mouse. Remember that not all apps are capable to use keyboard - but this depends on app manufacturer and will be the same for every TV set.
