• It does not have an analog tuner - really Best Buy get the specs corrected! Per Samsung's website is have and ATSC / Clear QAM tuner. Just got this TV yesterday and can verify for myself it picked up some local digital stations without a digital antenna even attached. The main difference appears to be no BT capabilities.

• As I see the difference is the 6300 has BT connection and smart remote.

• I was told that the 6290 has 3 HDMI ports and the 6300 has 4. I bought the 6290, and it does have 3 HDMI ports.

• 6300 has smart remote and blue tooth the 6290 has standard remote and no blue tooth only wifi. Otherwise no difference imho 6290 better buy.

• KU6290 series does indeed have an ATSC/QAM tuner. I have the 40 inch KU6290 with an indoor antenna and pick up 9 digital channels, that broadcast in 5.1 surround sound and 1080i or 720p

• The 6290 has an analog tuner, where the 6300 uses digital. Not a problem with cable tv. There is a problem if you use an antennae. The other difference is the smart remote with 6300. The 6290 uses a standard. Again, not a problem if you use the cable tv remote.

• I was told by Samsung, on a chat, that the 6290 did not have the Smart remote but unfortunately it does and there is no other ones available. So buy the 6300.
