Pretty much any tv can - but unless you buy a television built for the outdoors (and they are expensive) it does tend to lower the life span and/or quality of picture depending on where you are (humidity, salty air, rain, extreme cold, etc all can lower the lifespan on any electronics. Unless you have plenty of money to spend on outdoor televisions, id buy this at $500 or a similarly priced LG or Hisense.
