will my 42inch table be wide enough to hold the tv null

The Tv is about 48 inches wide but the placement of the legs can be adjusted to fit on table. Each leg has two positions it can be placed in. TV will fit but hang over a few inches on both sides.

No it will not!! we picked a 65" book case and it sits just fine.
