“is the Samsung power cord on this unit safe/fire rated to hide in a wall for a wall-mounted TV?”

• The power cord is typical of most models. While it isn't likely to cause any problem, I would hesitate to "hide" any power cord in a wall. You never know when mice, etc. might take a bite out of it. I would encase a proper wire in conduit and run a new outlet.
