Q: QuestionWhat are the differences between the q70 series and the q80 series?

• A:Answer Q80 better viewing angles than the Q70 and richer colors. However the viewing angles come at a cost. When watching dark scenes the Q80s contrast begins to suffer and it’s hard to make out images. The Q70 does not have this dark scene issue .

• A:Answer The only time I have any reflections on my TV is when it is turned off. When on the screen does not reflect light or anything else as far as I have experienced.

• A:Answer I would like to know also. The Best Buy cites 1 yr parts and labor. BJ's says 5 yrs parts and labor. They tell you to refer to the manual, which you can download from BJ's, it states 5 yrs! But then they offer and extended warranty for $89.

• A:Answer TV can only output 1440p at 120hz. Only tvs with HDMI 2.1 can output 4k at 120hz. There's only a hand full of tvs released this year that have HDMI 2.1. Q70R is a great tv.. Excellent contrast ratio, Black levels are superb and very nice wide color gamut. Very nice HDR. So many great features. Especially, If you buy the tv for gaming. • A:Answer The Q60R doesn't have full array back lighting, it is an edge lit LED. That means that the LED lights run around the edge of the screen. The Q70R has full array backlighting, this gives more even brightness across the screen and better contrast. The local dimming on the 70 also gives you a better overall image and a more accurate black level.

• A:Answer I had that very same question. What it came down to for me is, Q70 series had a brighter picture more crisp. I watch hockey and very bright white of course. I put my picture setting on MOVIE for everything. In my opinion it is the only setting to use. So it means Q60 was not as crisp a picture to me. Remember what you see in the store is the brightest setting you can have because of how bright the store is. At home your lights are not as bright. Anyway by no means am I a video geek. It is just my own preference. Good Luck oh ther is a Q80 LOL

• A:Answer I would say that either mount it on the stands it comes with and a sturdy rated for 100 lbs + limit console, OR Buy a wall mount, mount it and either plumb thru the wall (hidden wires) or try to hide them with the wire covers. Best Buy Geeks installed mine. That way they are responsible for the TV thru the process.
