• I would like to know also. The Best Buy cites 1 yr parts and labor. BJ's says 5 yrs parts and labor. They tell you to refer to the manual, which you can download from BJ's, it states 5 yrs! But then they offer and extended warranty for $89.

• Bought the 5 yr extended...........why? this TV replaced a 4 year old high end set.......it ran out of warranty
