“I have an Onkyo TX-NR777 receiver. Would it make a difference if I hooked up my PS4 (not Pro) to the TV or the receiver? Would I get HDR either way? Any advantages either way? Or disadvantages. Thank you in advance.”

• Hook it up to the receiver. The picture will be the same either way, but the sound will be better, especially if you have a good speaker setup with surround sound.

• I'm not sure about the playstation but with the xbox when you hook it into the TV the remote will automatically program itself to work the xbox.

• The answer depends on whether your receiver can pass HDR. If your receiver States it can pass HDR you should be fine. Make sure you get 18gbs HDMI cables.
