“What other cables need to be bought for this TV? I would have bought them at the time I purchased this TV. Need some audio for this, as the audio will not adjust and it tries to talk. Have to yell to stop.”

It works right out of the box with its own speakers. If you hear nothing, unplug all the extra stuff you probably hooked up. Once you master the tv by itself, THEN start plugging things in and be careful what you are selecting as the source.
