A:AnswerWe just got this q80t so I don't know how long it will last. We do have another Samsung TV that is about 15 years old and it is still working well.

A:AnswerHDMI 2.1 is a new standard that allows a resolution up to 10K (which isn't even a thing yet in the consumer space), 60hz refresh rates at 8K resolutions, and 120hz refresh rates on 4k and lower resolutions. Most TV broadcasts via cable or satellite dish are still 720p with some being 1080i or 1080p - and that content typically does not run above a 24hz refresh rate. That said, it doesn't matter which HDMI cable you use or which port you use it in as you don't have any devices that take advantage of the new features that HDMI 2.1 provides. If all you are using this display for is watching TV, I recommend seeking out a cheaper model. The Crystal Series TV's by Samsung are a good middle of the road 4k/HDR display that provides a fantastic picture at half the price of this display.
A:AnswerI purchased the Q80T. Amazing buy for a 54inch. The price isn't too steep. If you game, I think this tv is perfect. The Q90 might be a better gaming TV but after my research it's not too better to be worth the price jump! I love the Q80T
