Q: QuestionI'm looking to purchase to replace my current 2 monitor setup. Currently I use 1 monitor to work on, and the other monitor (4K) to game on. Would I be able to segment the monitor to have an area for just gaming, and the other area for work? Tx!

• A:Answer Yes. This monitor can handle it. There is a bit of a trade-off though if you split the screen into two inputs. If you want the highest level of gaming performance, then it is most optimal to just dedicate the whole screen to your gaming session. If you can accept some compromise with your gaming performance, then it works perfectly fine to split the monitor between work and gaming.

Q: QuestionI have a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER graphics card. Would this be enough to support the full 240hz and resolution? It says it can support 2.1 hdmi. I also have a AMD Ryzen 7 7000 Series processor. Is there any tinkering that I can do to make it if not?

• A:Answer The 4070 super will not run 240hz at full resolution due to throughput issues with DP 1.4. You can do 120hz at full or 240hz at 5120x1440. Note that the HDMI ports will not support full resolution at 240hz at all. Only the single DP port can do full resolution at 240hz, and only if you have a card that has DP 2.1. I don't have any experience with the AMD cards, so I can't speak to that. The new RTX 5000 series I believe will have DP 2.1 and will be able to run full res at 240hz.

Q: Questionwill this monitor work on my old asus desktop pc g20cb series with geforce gtx 970 which has an hdmi 2.0? I know the monitor has hdmi 2.1. I plan to use the monitor mostly like 90 percent office stuff/photos/ trading set up.

• A:Answer I was able to get it to work on my GTX 1080 at 60hz over HDMI, so maybe? But you'll def have to turn the refresh rate down to 120hz on the monitor settings and 60hz in windows. Even then I expect it will be finicky.

• A:Answer Yes. You can even split the screen 3 ways and have 3 devices displaying simultaneously, but in my opinion just splitting the screen 2 ways is more optimal.

• A:Answer Colossal. I had to fold down the seats in my SUV to get it home. I have a cat on my lap so I can't go measure it right now, but might come back later with exact dimensions. Looking at it I'd guess about 5.5ft x 2.5ft x 2.5ft.

• A:Answer It does, yes. It has Picture-by-Picture (PBP) and Picture-in-Picture (PIP). There are many options within these two categories that monitor provides you -- lot of flexibility with how you divide up your screen across different device inputs.

Q: QuestionHas anyone seen a demo/floor model of one of these in the VA area? I live in Fredericksburg but am willing to drive a little north or to Richmond if anyone has seen one. I'm interested in seeing this in person to determine if this will fit my needs.

• A:Answer If you find one locally to look at, I'd advise making sure you put your head in the sweet spot when you view it. I looked at one at a store near me and thought it looked like garbage. It wasn't till I bought an open-box, brought it home and sat in front of it that I realized the VA panel looked terrible in store because I was off-axis. I'd rate the screen as very good, compared to OLED's mind-blowing. The contrast and color are much better than I'd expect from a VA panel and the text clarity is much better than the 49" OLED I returned.
