“Plasma/LED life expectancy. What is the life expectancy on this model and how does it compare to LED models?”

I can answer the plasma side, I have a pioneer plasma tv I bought in 2002 and it has been on 4 to 8 hours a day since. The picture brightness and quality is as good as the first day I turned it on. From the available information, the life expectancy of both Samsung Plasma TVs and Samsung LED TVs are about the same under optimal conditions (about 100,000 hours. Results may vary depending on settings and environmental considerations). -MrSamsung
