Do you need special hdmi cables with a 3d tv ?? null

Actually you DON'T need HDMI 1.4 cables to view 3d, as the "High Speed" HDMI 1.3 cables have the same bandwidth as 1.4. The only real difference between high-speed 1.3 and 1.4 is 1.4 includes a network channel for network sharing. I have personally set up several 3D systems, including Samsung plasmas with high speed HDMI 1.3 cables and the 3D effect works flawlessly.

As a matter of fact, the 3D devices require HDMI 1.4 cables in order to transmit 3D signals. -MrSamsung
