“What would be causing a crackling/popping sound? Watching Netflix via Firestick and TV is randomly making a sound like there is some sort of interference. Any ideas?”

• If it happens consistently using a variety of inputs or sources, it may be a hardware issue with the TV.

• I'm also experiencing the same symptoms on my new TV, I will be returning it ASAP. Some research does show several people experiencing the same issue. I guess Samsung has been dropping the ball on quality control, several electronic items lately from washers to cellphones... Kind of sad since I do like their products..

• It could be the HDMI extender. I was using that on my firestick and every so often it would make that noise. It stopped when I plugged the firestick directly into the HDMI port on the tv.
