Don’t think it does. It has a built in fan that recirculates the air behind the back burners. Not the same as a fan, but unless you have a fan that vents externally not sure a fan above that just recirculates adds much more of a difference.

A range hood is not required with this range model; however, it is recommended to have an exhaust if your kitchen area is not well-ventilated so that when you cook, the smoke and smell can be exhausted appropriately.
