“Just got samsung range hooked up should i run oven before putting food in”

Manufacturer recommends running oven for 4 hours before cooking. The oven will smoke a bit which Samsung says is normal and doesn't affect your food.

Before you begin, clean the oven thoroughly before using it for the first time. Then, remove the accessories, set the oven to bake, and then run the oven at 400 °F for 1 hour. There will be a distinctive odor. This is normal. Ensure your kitchen is well ventilated during this conditioning period. I have shared the user manual link below.
