“is the control panel supposed to be backlit , i can see the digital portion ok but the rest of it is dark and i need a flashlight to see the other buttons like bake timerr etc..”

• Even touchig the screen control doesnt light

• Yes, the face panel is an LED panel. All of the features are lit up and easy to see. When you aren't using it, it dims them. Simply touch the panel to wake it up.
