“Can this range safely be free standing? Or does it have to be slid into the cabinets?”

My range is currently free standing. It comes with an anti tip bracket that I installed to prevent it from tipping forward although I couldn't imagine it tipping, it is very sturdy

They would also know if the city or town has an ordinance that could prevent it from being free standing. hope this helped.
