Personally I think that a plasma is going to be your best option. I just bought the samsung plasma 8500 series and I am really enjoying it. It does not have the best latency for gaming but is not that noticeable when in game mode. The main things you want to look for are: Game mode HIgh refresh rate Contrast levels (the higher the ratio the better) low latency
