Those high motion rates do not matter at this point because Not a single cable or satellite company show any 4K content. Any 4K display will only be up scaling 1080p content and the higher the number the less motion blur you will get. In essence 240MR is really 120HZ equivalent and 120 is 60HZ .
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would also be highly suspicious of the sams club listing that says the 8 series I think you are referring to is 1200 motion rate. Even Samsung's top of the line 9500 series is only listed as 240 motion rate. My guess is Sams Club either has that info flat out wrong, or is basing it on a different measuring system and thus you cannot simply say 1200 > 240.
