• The actual refresh rate is 120hz, however the 8550 has a "motion rate" of 240 which is Samsung's rating for the calculated refresh rate. If you are familiar with Samsung's old CMR (Clear Motion Rating), this Samsung as a CMR of 1600 which is top of the line for watching fast moving action or sports.

• 240 true motion rate. Samsungs version of 240htz, need it for 4k
