Try using an optic connecter to connect your sound up with. it does sound like you have the wrong cable, you must have one that is for audio only. Bit investing in an optic cable is awesome, it delivers better sound and is so much easier to connect.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Try plugging in all your cable boxes, DVD's, etc. to the stereo receiver, then use only one HDMI to the smart box on the TV. I had some different issues when hooking up to the SMART HUB, then using an optical cable back to the receiver, but no problems at all since changing the location of the plugs. I think if you hook to the SMART HUB, it creates some kind of feedback that manifests differently depending on your receiver.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had a similar problem, but I played around with the remote, navigated to, I believe, settings or something like that and turned on Any net, and Bingo! - the surround sound system performance seems enhanced with this tv.
