• 7500 series is a UHD, 8500 is the new SUHD version of the samsung tv. You can tell the difference, I will go for the 8500, I own one.

• Yes. I was torn between these two models but the 8500 was on sale and 400.00 less than the 7500 which never was offered on sale.
