“What is the width of the desk mount? I am trying to figure out where I am going to locate the TV that will be delivered on 12-3 and NO ONE at Samsung can tell me the width (l-r) of the mounting base. I do not want to wall mount it and have about 4 feet of surface to use.”

The stand measures 33.75 inches by 9 inches.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Picture a upside down T. The piece front to back is 11" long and 4" thick . Then bottom of the T is 38 3/4" and that is about 2" thick. That is your speaker. I have mine on a coffee table for the time being until I can find just the right table that will match my TV cabinet. So you have plenty of room with your 4 foot table. Plus it is easy to move around and center it anyway you want it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.11 inches deep X 4 inches wide and runs from back to front center of TV. Then there is a 39 inch piece X 1 inch in front if TV that runs along the face on the TV. Complete stand looks like a T. So you need a 39 inches wide Max. Hope it makes sense.
