Samsung.com has the specific specs. No it not true 4k that's why Samsung states suhd on the boxes. It's resolution is only 3k x 2k, actual 4k is 4k x 2k which in reality is 8k, if you want true 4k, then you need a oled by Samsung but your looking at entry level of $10k. Not 3.0 sub only 2.0 but that is more then needed for uhd 4k. It is actually 32bit color if that is your question and yes it is blu-Ray ready.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have this TV, it definitely is 4K, mind blowing picture. And I do have a Samsung 4K blu Ray player (it also upscales) very few 4K movies but the picture is amazing!
