• It's 3D ready but it's not all in 3D, so yes.

• Yes. Go to your menue and turn off 3D. When you press the menu button look at the very top of the screen. You will see 3d settings.

• Yes. I have a dvd player for both 3d and non 3d and each is fine. You do need to get a player that takes advantage of the 4k capabilities.
