I use an optical cable between the TV connection box and my vizio sound bar and it works perfectly. BTW, these new samsungs have a small (8x4x1 inch) box that is connected to the TV by a short proprietary cable, and all other components connect to that box. It sounds strange, but it makes things easier. I also understand that the brains of the TV are in that box, so it might be possible to upgrade your TV brain later without having to get a whole new TV.

Probably but you need to clarify what you are going to be connecting to the one connect box. Optical, Analog, or HDMI?

This TV has Blue Tooth.... so maybe depending on your set up. It has wifi too.... so again maybe...
