A:AnswerI was not convinced when I was buying mine there was a difference. But the Best Buy I went too had them both next to each other. To me the curved was a little sharper.
Glares are not as bright on a curved tv but because it's curved the glares are longer across the screen. Football games took a minute to get use to as the field seems to sort of be curved at the edges of the screen but I'm used to it now
If you game or love action flicks go with the curved screen. If you watch mostly sports and other movies go with flat.
A:AnswerWarranty is usually 1 year manufacturer. When we purchase something this large and pay a lot, we usually purchase the additional warranty for peace of mind.
A:AnswerWe have moved to this set from a 55 inch HD Samsung. The quality of the sound is smoother, less glaring, even when it is turned up louder, it still isn't "painful" to listen to! And I wear a hearing aid on one side. That being said, our normal volume is a little higher, but much more comfortable. However, it shouldn't have to be that high for you to hear comfortably. Two things come to mind....(1) Your cable/satellite provider may have a solution, perhaps something in their settings. And (2) Have you checked the advanced settings to see if something is set at the wrong level for your viewing listening pleasure? I wish you luck, it really is a whole new experience!!!
A:AnswerI used the factory speakers for a day before booking up my home theater system and I was pretty impressed with the sound quality. Normally tv speakers suck but they really stepped up their game
A:AnswerFrom what I've been told Samsung is steering away from the SUHD title. With Super Ultra High Definition with the Quantum Dot Display, you basically have more pixels per square inch. Its much more vibrant picture.
A:AnswerThe old 45 inch TV that died in our house and we bought a 65 Samsung Curve to replace the old one, we used the same mount. I think, you will have no problem.
A:AnswerGoogle Samsung TV Handshake issues. My tv stopped communicating with my Verizon cable box; meaning my tv stopped recognizing signal from any hdmi source. Tv is useless for watching cable tv. I switched hdmi cables, exchanged my fios box, purchased high end 4K hdmi cables; nothing worked. I have been told I might need a new One Connect Box. Best Buy doesn’t sale them.
