A:Answer The stand does not extend very far in the front of the tv, but it's quite deep on the backside. It's a super slim tv but the stand pushes the tv about a foot away from the wall which seems dumb, unless you put it in a corner. It looks nice but mine did not feel very strong, compared to a pedestrol style. I avoided all this by mounting it on the wall
