• Smart TV just means that it can receive Wifi by itself and play any of the streaming services available on your WIfi. You can use it as a "Dumb" TV by hooking up cable and watch what ever you have selected from your cable service. The Smart capabilities will not come into play unless you choose to use them.

• Smart TVs have an internet connection capability. If you do not wish to use the Smart features, disable WiFi for the TV and do not plug in any internet devices to the ports.
