“I think I speak for most people when it comes to this question: What is the contrast ratio of this TV? I know this is still an LED TV, but the SUHD from last year had over 6,500:1 ratio which is great. How about this year's QLED?”

• It has improved, I have forgotten the numbers but it's by quite a bit. The tv does great for movies with low light - just take it off of dynamic.

• I believe that the native contrast ratio for this tv is approximately 4700:1. Not as good as the KS8000 series (a 2016 Model) from last year. Not sure if it really makes much difference to the eye when viewing as it's hard to compare the "other" picture enhancements of each model.
