You didn't provide much information about your setup. What I discovered is that using the HDMI eArc connection to the soundbar the difference was stunning. Unfortunately with that soundbar you have limited your Dolby options that the TV supports. I have a newer sound bar much the same but it includes Dolby Atmos, but the input would seem to benefit you as I also was initially dismayed on the other inputs ability.
