QuestionWhat are realistic expectations for this 65" 4K TV to upscale a 1080i signal from a Spectrum cable DVR. Will it be pixelated or blurry, or would the 55" do a better job of upscaling the incoming signal? We view the TV from about 12 feet away. Thanks !

- Answer Hi JohnB! For a viewing distance of approximately 12 feet, we recommend sticking with a 65" or larger TV. All sizes of the Q80T will upscale 1080i content as close to 4K quality as possible. You should not experience any blur or pixelation, as the Quantum Processor 4K will provide you with improved detail for a better viewing experience. ^Gina

QuestionMy Marantz SR5013 under the Video settings menu has an option to adjust 4k signal format. If I choose Enhanced vs. Standard, for high quality 4k 60p 4:4:4, 4:2:2 10bit video signals, It states TV not configured for 4k 60p 10bit video signals ?

QuestionWhat size screw goes into the back of TV for wall mounting? I have a mount from previous Samsung TV, but screw hole size is different on this TV.

QuestionWhat is the correct VESA mounting pattern for this TV (400mm x 400mm) or (400mm x 300mm)? I have seen them both refenced for this model.

- Answer Hi Jim1607! The VESA for the Samsung - 65" Class Q80T Series is 400mm x 300mm. If you go up to the 75Q80T you will need the 400mm x 400mm. ^Celina

QuestionWould it be beneficial to plug your cable box HDMI cord into HDMI 1, or should we utilize Port 4 (HDMI 2.1), since it supports a higher refresh rate when displaying certain content? Or does it make any difference to where we run the cable box HDMI cord?

- Answer Hi there, Feel free to use HDMI 4 at will. Though once you get a HDMI 2.1 source you'll want to prioritize that into HDMI 4 to engage its full capability. -Scott

QuestionDoes the stand adjust in height at all? One photo shows a 3" rise from the surface on which the TV is sitting to the bottom of the TV; another photo (side view) seems to show a much smaller gap between the surface and the bottom of the tv.

Object Tracking Sound which utilizes 4 speakers is available on the Q90T and the Q80T. QuestionCelina I'm not having luck finding 26-28mm. Would 25mm be sufficient? I have an existing wall mount from a few years ago and installer didn't leave the extra screws. Thanks

- Answer Hi CTJET! First, please ensure your existing wall mount utilizes a VESA Pattern of 400mm x 300mm, as this is required to wall mount the 65Q80T. If your previous wall mount shares the same VESA Pattern, you should be able to find the correct screw size needed at any local hardware stores. ^Gina

QuestionDoes this tv cause black smear or background movement? When playing a game and moving the camera left to right in a dark area does the blacks smear causing like an ink trail and do backgrounds move with a weird effect?

QuestionWhat is length from the bottom of the TV to the bottom mount screws. Trying to prep for wall mount and need to know where to place the wood for support. I don't want the TV too high/low. Thank you for the feedback.
