“Does the stand hold the screen high enough that a 2 inch high sound bar can sit in front of the set and not interfere with the remote signal? What is the height from the bottom of the screen to the surface on which it sits?”

Hi David, When you have a QN65Q90TAFXZA on the stand it allows for a 3.6" space from the bottom of the TV to your surface. ^Celina

Couldn't tell you how the stand works. I mounted the TV on the wall with a Sonos sound bar attached along the bottom edge. Everything works great.
