I research for many months which TV I wanted to buy! There are so many types of TV's now it can be confusing at times, O-LED, Q-LED, LED, LCD, Plasma, 4K, 8K, for some this can be a little overwhelming! People ask what is the Best tv all the time! The Answer I have now learned is... WHERE ARE YOU GOING TO WATCH THE TV??? If you are in a dark basement with no windows or uncontrollable light sources, You might consider O-LED. However, many people have a window or skylights or door with glass windows, then I would suggest Q-LED. Q-LED is much brighter than a standard LED TV. It also has a great picture with 4K over a standard non-4K TV. I can turn the brightness way down to my desires. I am extremely happy with my TV. I have NOT had any issues with it at all. I also use the Samsung HW-Q950T matching Soundbar with a BDI Mirage 8227 Medi Center which I ordered all from Best buy. Latter I purchased a very high-end Panamax surge suppressor M5400-PM and found via eBay a new open box Samsung 4K UHD Matching Blu-ray Player. Then I also have another Matching Samsung VCR/DVD burner Combo to watch old VHS Tapes with memories and reunion videos if I desire and can burn DVD copies. All is plugged into the Panamax Surge Suppressor and looks very professional. The TV has the best 4K UHD picture ever!!!! I have all the smart features connected and working however I use my stand-alone 4k ROKU Ultra device which runs straight into the SoundBar for tru Dolby ATMOS sound and have done this as well with my Samsung 4k UHD Blu-ray Player as well. This gives the best raw true Dolby ATMOS Sound experience with loud bass and Awesome Surround Sound like a movie theatre! The BDI Mirage 8227 Media Center was pricey but you get what you pay for! I Love the Media Center and well worth every penny and makes everything look professional. I can not say enough good things about the Samsung Q90t TV. I was worried the rainbow eefect would bother me once I got it home and installed but I have not noticed it at all in my home install. I got a good package deal on the Q90t and HW-Q950t Soundbar package and I purchased the full extended warranty for both. The Tizen 5.0 Smart features work very well. Apps pull up and run without a problem. But I do use my stand-alone ROKU over the built-in APPS to enjoy the ATMOS Sound thru the Samsung Soundbar. I am truly 100% happy with my Q90t 65" Samsung TV. I made the right decision for my Home Install.

Good TV for too much money

I had high expectations for this TV as is the 4k flagship and costs a lot of money. My choices came down to the LG CX vs. the q90t. I compared them in store and the qled just popped in the way the CX did NOT. I also did not want to have to worry about burn in as I have experienced it before on a plasma after a few years of usage. Pros: - truly breathtaking HD/4K content in HDR that pops like no other 4k TV on the market, even oled. - super fast interface that's fairly simple - TV is able to get blindingly bright - uniformity of panel is great - thin bezel and beautiful center stand make the TV look like art Cons: -doesn't do a good job handling motion. the picture Clarity settings are necessary to smooth out the video depending on what content you're watching and they can create the soap opera effect but luckily you can customize them to your liking. My seven-year-old plasma was better in this regard. - this TV is way too expensive - only one HDMI 2.1 Channel - some minor horizontal banding can be seen during fast panning on light colored backgrounds - some blooming of on black backgrounds. It's not that bad and is expected as this is not a plasma or OLED but it's still there. - game mode makes video games look like garbage I don't use it unfortunately. Degrades quality too much but luckily games look great without it. - menu app positions like the settings app should be customizable. Navigating settings can become cumbersome because you have to scroll all the way to the left. -All the privacy documents / policies the tv tries to force you to agree to are scary. I shouldn't have to worry about my tv spying on me or selling my data. Pro tip: - the judder setting in the picture Clarity menu is your best friend. It's the single biggest Factor in adjusting the smoothness of the picture. - Disable the Eco setting that auto dims the TV if you don't want the TV dimming itself. you have to change this individually for each viewing mode. Conclusion: I like this TV but its too expensive and has some faults. As a result I cannot recommend it to most buyers as I feel a cheaper led back light lcd set would suit their needs better. However, I would recommend this TV to the techies who want the most stunning 4k sets around and are willing to spend hours playing with the settings.

    Amazing and unparalleled picture quality

This TV is the best investment you can make. The quality is visible and tangible from unboxing. Design is clean and modern which is always a plus. The metal stand is solid with a sturdy feel and the frame has very thin bezels with quality finish. The remote has a premium feel with weight that makes it fit in your hand well. As far as picture quality, I'd have to give it all high marks. Most notable is its wide viewing angles and bright color gamut. Watching HDR content blows me away with rich colors and deep blacks. Standard content is upscaled very well and looks great. I did some minimal tweaking of the picture clarity settings after some research which only improves the impeccable picture. For the gamers, gaming is amazing. The low input lag with its game pro settings makes motion look smooth and responsive. It definitely took my eyes for a surprise at first because of the how smooth it looked. It also recognizes your console out of the box. Overall, this is a wonderful TV with picture quality as its strong suit. Samsung's Tizen OS is quick and responsive with apps loading up almost instantaneously most of the time. My only wish is that it was more integrated with Google assistant albeit it not having Google's OS. It does have full integration with Alexa and Samsung's Bixby. Also, another gripe are the ads on the home menu which cannot be turned off or moved, but don't let that dissuade you from getting this TV. This TV is worth the investment. Period.

We purchased this Samsung Q90 as an open box but we didn’t mind that. This tv is replacing a 5 year old Samsung led and let me tell you, it’s definitely the best tv we could ever buy, we were worried about the reflection due to big windows all around it, and this tv is amazing, you can see the picture perfectly even when the room is bright. It’s also preloaded with all the bells and whistles, we had to purchase an Apple TV for our old tv, but now we don’t need it anymore because it comes with all the apps that you can imagine, the sound is also very good for this slim tv, we have been enjoying it very much and we’re very happy that we decided to buy this Samsung Q90.

Purchased the Samsung 65" Q90T QLED 4K TV as an open box item. The television was a return item. The TV was new and I thoroughly inspected every inch when I got the set home. Although it was inspected by Geek Squad I wanted to make sure things were legit from my point of view. I found no evidence of wear, scratches or even fingerprints. All protective measures were in place and the only difference from this set and one from the manufacturer was a $750 discount for being an open box item. I couldn't pass up the deal and I used some of the saving to purchase a Samsung soundbar and subwoofer that paired with the TV effortlessly. Everything went relatively smoothly during assembly and set up (needed an extra pair of hands to help mount the TV on the stand). I had some issues connecting to my WIFI but that was more my issue and password than the TV and input interface. The only other thing that I was unable to accomplish was the set up of the voice recognition system. I think I will try to set up the built in Alexa when I get the chance but, I have no issues with just doing things with the remote. Speaking of the remote... I heard nothing but rave reviews of the Samsung remote and it lives up to the hype. Simple straight forward and easy to use. Thank you Samsung for getting it right! No issues setting up the Apps and establishing a this new device with my current Netflix account, Amazon Prime, etc. I decide to go with Hulu instead of YouTube for my non-cable provider. Sometimes Hulu doesn't load and just sits there with a black screen. Looked up the fix on YouTube and re-installation of the App takes 5 seconds using the remote whenever this happens.... No problem. The sound for music programming and movies is fantastic with my QT60 soundbar. Very happy with that purchase as well. Since I'm essentially watch programming via internet (albeit a very fast connection) I might not be seeing the full benefit of this TV's capabilities but, the picture is great, vibrant and I'm very pleased. If I choose to connect a blu-ray player I'm sure I will see what everyone is talking about but, for now I'm just a happy customer who got a great deal on a state of the art television and sound system.

This was a great panel, and it got incredibly bright with punchy colors. But in any dark scenes I really found myself missing my OLED tv. So I swapped this one out for a C3. I do also have to note the speaker qualilty on this one was definitely not great. My 48CX had much better in-built speakers. But excellent picture quality (if you aren't used to OLED you probably will not notice the difference in dark scenes and for bright scenes it gets far brighter than current OLED panels anyway).

I haven't paid full price for a TV in 15+ years because of the BB open-box sales policy. Discounts are based off the current prices whether sale or not, so great deals to be had. This one was Satisfactory-classed due to no box and no manuals/paperwork, otherwise completely perfect body, screen, stand etc (pics 1-3). Gaming with Xbox Series X is primary content and this is amazing for everything (4K, HDR and solid calibration). The Tizen apps are great for direct 4K view of programs, but also have no issues with 4K output via Xbox apps (YouTube, Netflix, HBO Max, Disney+). I upgraded to this set from a 2014 early model Samsung 4K (55") and have no regrets. I considered the QN90A models but didn't want to go full price so early in the 2021-22 cycle. For the same money here I would have probably just been able to get the 55" QN85A, but I was really ready to go bigger. Almost jumped to 75" but again would have dropped down to Q80T or Q70T. I do hear good things about the new QNxxA sets but my house is set for another 5+yrs of high-quality viewing!

So pleased with my new Samsung QLED Q90T TV!! Love the vibrant color and improved clarity and sharpness from my previous Samsung TV!! Was considering a smaller size but decided to go with my original choice of 65” and so glad I went with bigger screen-when streaming movies with surround sound I have my home theater!!

Excellent picture and color right out of the box. I like the thin bezel, Amazon Alexa voice control on the small remote, and ambient mode which allows you to turn the TV into framed artwork. Cox cable shows great upscaled, but the 4K content from built-in apps is awesome. I have yet to see an uncompressed video from a 4K Blu-ray player. Overall very happy with the purchase and caught it on sale for around $1,899.

Great looking TV, remote is simple to use. Honestly happy with the purchase only because i found it for literally the price of a 55" Q80t. But, if I had to choose again.. I would more then likely go for the new Hisense U8G then this. The colors and motion is way above this tv.

It's been about 10 years since I purchased a new tv. After some extensive research online and in stores I decided on the Q90. I put this tv in a room which receives a lot of natural light at times. The picture looks great regardless of the lighting. I've received more than a few compliments on my new tv. I love that the tv is all picture with a very thin outer frame. I couldn't be happier with my new Samsung Q90. Can't wait until football season!
