Hello BigHinUtah - Yes, this TV is absolutley great for bright rooms. It offers Direct Full Array Backlighting which controls the backlight more precisely for deeper blacks and less blooming. Another technology it offers is Local Power Distribution which distributes power throughout the panel to make bright areas look brighter, and provide better brightness, up to 20%, on top of the Direct Full Array technology. It also has Quantum HDR 16X (High Dynamic Range for contrast ), as well as Anti Reflection Technology, which reduces ambient light reflections on the TV screen. It's a great TV, enjoy! ^Cris
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Absolutely!!! It is the PERFECT TV for a bright room. I own the SAMSUNG Q90t 65" and have skylights, doors, and windows and it is plenty bright! I am 100% very happy with my Samsung Q90t 65" TV. You can also turn the brightness down for night time viewing.
